Your brand, a defined spending value, and clear rules

A branded benefit currency is digital spending credit issued under your brand and accepted by selected businesses. You choose its name and the rules of the program. People use the credit to pay through a digital service.

Ecoo provides the platform to manage the currency, from participant accounts and business profiles to payments, campaigns, and reporting.

Give your offer a recognizable identity

The currency can use a name that belongs to your organization, such as a coin or credit. Your branding appears when people receive it, check what is available, find a business, and pay.

This gives marketing a practical connection to the service people use. The name should make the offer recognizable; the explanation should make its value, funding, and acceptance clear.

Choose how the currency is funded

Your program can use one or more agreed arrangements:

  • Your organization funds credit for participants.
  • Your organization covers part of the purchase cost, so participants pay less than the spending value they receive.
  • Participants purchase credit for use within the program.
  • Your organization funds credit as a reward for a verified activity.

The spending value and any saving must be clear to participants. Credit needs an agreed source of funding and arrangements for paying participating businesses.

Control where your funding is spent

Set the eligible audience, approved businesses or provider categories, geographic area, limits, and expiration dates. Participants retain choice within the network you select.

The credit is limited to the program; this is also called a closed-loop arrangement. It is not available for unrestricted cash withdrawal. Refunds, unused credit, business payouts, and responsibility for daily operation are defined before launch.

Connect your communication with recorded use

Campaign tools let you introduce the currency, promote participating businesses, and remind people about available credit. Reports show participation and spending within the program, including first and repeat use.
