Program rules
- Coins are valid from purchase until the end of the following year; unused coins are refunded at the amount paid.
- Coins are personal and cannot be exchanged, gifted, or transferred.
- Top-ups by credit card, Twint, PayPal, or PFPay.

- Open the appOpen CSS Coin and choose the payment action.
- Scan the QR codeHold the camera over the participating business's QR code.
- Confirm the paymentThe amount is deducted from the coin balance and recorded in the transaction list.

A clear process for customers and businesses
The coins are used only with approved participating businesses. The offer does not apply to every business or medical bill.
Customers register and complete the required eligibility checks, buy CSS Coins, and see their available credit and past payments in the digital service. They find participating businesses and use the business's QR code to pay.
Purchase limits, expiration dates, and the approved network determine how the coins can be used. Participating businesses receive payouts in Swiss francs through the agreed operating arrangement.
The platform behind the customer experience
The program connects eligibility checks, digital accounts, spending rules, business administration, payments, campaigns, and reporting. These functions make the currency usable for customers and manageable for the operating team.
CSS funds the discount. Its operating partner runs CSS Coin and handles billing. Ecoo supplies technology within the agreed division of responsibilities.
