A local currency that connects your destination with local spending

Give residents or visitors digital credit to use at participating businesses in your area. The currency carries the place's name and identity, while Ecoo provides the platform for access, business discovery, payments, and reporting. A city, tourism organization, transport operator, hotel group, or business network can define the offer, funding, geographic area, and period of use.

Connect destination marketing with an offer people can use

Local credit could be included in a stay, a booking offer, an event, or a campaign. Visitors hear about it before arrival and use it at participating shops, restaurants, attractions, cultural venues, or services during their visit.

Marketing can reach people outside the area, while the spending rules keep the credit within the selected local network. Give the currency a recognizable name and show clearly where it is accepted.

Credit can be funded by the organization or its partners, or purchased by users under the agreed model. Connections to booking and transport systems are scoped separately.

Make participation practical for local businesses

Businesses need clear terms, a straightforward payment process, and agreed payouts. Ecoo supports business profiles, search, QR payments, transaction records, and settlement reports.

The network is an essential part of the program. We confirm who is responsible for recruiting and supporting businesses, maintaining their information, funding the credit, and managing unused amounts. A ready-made local network is not automatically included.

See where program spending goes

Reports can show spending by participating business, category, time, and registered business location. This gives the operating team information to improve the network, offer, and communication.

Reporting covers spending through the program, not all spending in the destination. Any wider economic effect needs separate evidence.
