How does ecoo work?
- A digital coin is issued to the organization’s eligible customers.
- The coin can be used to make purchases at all partner stores.
- The digital coins are automatically exchanged for Swiss francs when sent to the organization’s administration.
How do partner stores integrate this into online payment?
- Customer selects prepayment / ecoo as payment method in ecommerce store. Customer receives email with bank details (for remaining amounts) and ecoo instruction optionally wallet ID with order number, app link and QR code.
- Customer scans, clicks or manually transfers the amount owed.
- Store receives payment and daily transaction list via email (with order number and amount) and releases shipment.
